Overview

This truly miraculous Facial Course is brought to us by Dominika Dracz-Le-Grange. Originally from Poland, Dominika is a beauty therapist and trainer with over 13 years experience in the beauty industry.

Face-remodelling enables work on the deepest structures of the face allowing correction of face shape and its symmetry, improved muscle tone, lymph and blood circulation. It is a completely natural, safe and holistic method of rejuvenation, where the body and face are treated as one structure. This enables the Therapist to establish the cause of any inbalance thereby achieving lasting effects. Changes are noticeable after only one session and, following a course of treatment, your clients will experience spectacular results.

Entry Requirements

There are two possible Post-graduate qualification certificates attainable on completion of the course training requirements, either of which will enable the completing therapist to gain insurance and practice professionally.

A T.S.I. Post-graduate qualification certificate and, for an additional fee of £22, a BABTAC Post-graduate qualification certificate.

It is a pre-requisite of attending the course that students have, as a minimum, the following qualifications:

To receive the T.S.I. Post-graduate Certificate, we require a Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology Qualification and a Level 3 Massage/Bodywork Qualification.

To receive the BABTAC Certificate: An Ofqual regulated Level 2 Beauty Qualification, an Ofqual regulated Level 2 Facial Massage Unit or an Ofqual regulated Level 2 Full Massage Qualification.

Comment From The Principal

"As I do with all prospective new courses for T.S.I. I met with the tutor and experienced this treatment first hand prior to offering it to our Students. I was not disappointed. Although I would say that this treatment is not for the faint hearted - i.e. the work can be deep; as with any holistic approach to treatment, the depth of work can be adjusted for your individual clients. I saw the results immediately and experienced the welcome release of fascial tension across my upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face and the release of my jaw tension was remarkable. A true testament to the results of just one treatment was from my Students. I had the treatment between two teaching days and when I returned to teach my Students commented "well you can tell you spent all day yesterday meditating, you look 10 years younger!" They did not know that I was having a treatment and so this was further confirmation for me of the many benefits of this unique treatment".

Course Content

Dominika Dracz Le Grange

Studies commence at 10.00 a.m. and finish at 6.00 p.m.

The course consists of a combination of theory and practical sessions covering the following subjects: face anatomy, biomechanical aspects of face and body ageing, face and body deformation and its recovery, and manual hands – on techniques using accessories e.g. cups and kinesio tapes.

There are 4 modules to complete:

• Theory Of Wrinkles – definition and influence of hypo and hyper tonus of the muscles - how wrinkles and face deformations are created .
• Deep Tissue Face Massage Techniques - (buccal, myofascial), a practical session, where unique methods of working on the different levels of the skin and muscles are presented.
• Vacuum Therapy – theory and practice of using cups on the face in order to drain and/or move the lymphatic fluid towards the nodes and to assist in the creation of growing new blood vessels in the areas where they have declined.
• Kinesiotaping – face and body – theory and practice (methods of application). Kinesiology tape can help re-train muscles that have lost function or that have become maladapted to an unhealthy way of working. e.g. kinesiology taping can be used to correct posture in the head and neck and is an extension of the treatment already applied.

Face-remodelling uses all of the above techniques and provides the best results when used in combination. However, all presented techniques can also be used separately as single treatments. Included are stretching exercises that help to improve posture, influence overall muscle tone and facial appearance.

Course costs include a set of vacuum cups (as pictured) and a roll of kineseology tape for each student to take home with them.

Please note: This is a post-graduate qualification course during which the Student is assessed for competence. To be awarded the Certificate of Qualification; following the course, students are required to submit 3 case studies within 2 months of their training.
