Summary: These four Aromatherapy Distance-Learning Modules form part of our Aromatherapy Clinical Diploma and are components of our Aromatherapy Upgrades. If you want to dip your toe in to the world of Aromatherapy and are not certain that you want to pursue the Diploma, you can book one or more of these DL modules as a 'taster'. Should you then decide to pursue the Diploma itself; if decided in a timely manner, your DL modules can be counted towards your Diploma training.

Overview

These four Aromatherapy Distance-Learning Modules form part of our Aromatherapy Clinical Diploma and are components of our Aromatherapy Upgrades. They are also available to those who want to expand their knowledge of Aromatherapy to use with their family and friends.

Distance-learning means that you can study from the comfort of your own home anywhere in the world with no deadlines or timescales. You will receive an in-depth training manual, DVD support (on some of the Courses) and help and advice via e-mail or telephone from a dedicated Moderator.

Aromatherapy Diploma Students can start with the Distance-Learning Modules or with either of the 'in-house' Modules:

Introduction (Module 1)

Topics include:

On completion, following successfully completing the Assignments Students can proceed to Module 2.

Essential Oils (Module 2)

Topics include:

On completion, following successfully completing the Assignments, Students can proceed to Module 3.

Advanced Aromatherapy (Module 3)

Topics include:

Students will be introduced to the Principles of Ayurveda - the Foundation of Aromatherapy as we know it.

On completion, following successfully completing the assignments, Students can proceed to Module 4.

Knowledge and Practice (Module 4)

Homework

You will receive the course data by post within 2 weeks of our receipt of your application. You will e-mail (preferred method) or post completed Homework from each lesson which will be checked, marked and returned to you.

Case-studies: If there is either an exemption from the Massage Module or you are doing the 'without massage' Diploma, Case Studies can be started after completing Distance-learning Modules 1 and 2 and having attended the 5 day in-house Aromatherapy Practical Module.

Theory Examination: The theory examination (taken after completing DL1-4 Modules and the Aromatherapy Practical Module) usually takes place online via Zoom. You may also take it elsewhere, under the supervision of a Doctor or Lawyer or Clergyman/woman or other suitable professional. If this option is taken, it is the responsibility of the student to arrange and advise us of the name and address of the qualified supervisor.

Please note that, regardless of where the examination takes place, there is a separate charge for the theory examination fee of £150.
