Summary:
This course enables students to integrate hands-free techniques alongside their core massage skills, thereby reducing strain to their hands. Many deep tissue techniques require hands-free skills, therefore this day is also supportive to learning deep tissue techniques. However, hands-free massage can also be used very lightly, even on the face.
Overview
This 1-day Hands-Free Massage Course is for Massage Therapists who wish
to learn additional techniques that avoid over-using the hands. Especially
useful for those therapists whose hands are not as agile as they once were or
who have developed strain from over-use.
We guide students to learn this advanced massage technique as soon as possible following their Core Massage training. This enables the therapist to integrate these techniques alongside their core massage skills, therefore avoiding strain to their hands.
Hands-free applications are a common feature of Deep Tissue Massage and enable the therapist to take better care of their joints by decreasing the pressure and strain incurred when working with several clients a day.
Hands-free massage is easily adaptable to any part of the body, including the face and can be incorporated seamlessly into existing routines.
This Course is also one of the days of our five-day
Advanced Massage Techniques Qualification Course (AMT).
When all five days have been completed we will award you with an
Advanced Massage Qualification Certificate.
