The International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA)

The IFPA is the largest, independent, professional association in Britain, with several branches abroad. The Federation is committed to servicing the best interests of its membership (which includes non-practising members) and Aromatherapy in general and its primary aim is to develop high standards of qualifications and practice among its members. The Federation holds an educational weekend seminar each year and produces a quarterly journal for its members. Comprehensive insurance-cover, which also covers many other Complementary Therapies, is available to both students and full members.

Insurance Cover: It is a requirement that Students be covered for any claims made personally against them. Students can take advantage of the student premium with Balens Insurance which was specifically arranged for this purpose.
